PulsaCoil Boiler Warranty Plus – Terms and Conditions

Extended Warranty Cover for New Boiler Installations by PulsaCoil Group

1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern your extended warranty plan (“the plan”) for new boiler installations carried out by PulsaCoil Group (“we”, “us”, “our”). This plan provides extended repair and replacement coverage for your PulsaCoil boiler beyond the standard manufacturer’s guarantee.

2. Definitions

  • Boiler: The new PulsaCoil boiler installed by PulsaCoil Group at your property.
  • Home: The domestic property at the address listed on your plan certificate.
  • Plan: This contract of extended warranty for a fixed period.
  • You/Your: The customer named on the warranty certificate.
  • Approved Engineer: A qualified technician appointed by PulsaCoil Group.

3. What Does This Plan Cover?

This extended warranty plan includes:

  • Unlimited call-outs for boiler faults covered under warranty.
  • All parts and labour required to repair manufacturing or installation-related faults to parts either located in or on the boiler.
  • Emergency breakdown response during normal working hours (Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm).
  • Annual system health check (where applicable).

4. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the warranty plan:

  • The boiler must have been installed by PulsaCoil Group.
  • The boiler must be new and registered within 1 year of installation with PulsaCoil Group.
  • The manufacturer’s warranty must be registered within 6 months of purchase. Failure to register with either party will invalidate your warranty.
  • The property must be a domestic residence located in the United Kingdom.
  • The boiler must be used solely for personal and non-commercial purposes.

5. Exclusions

This warranty plan does not cover:

  • Boilers installed by third parties.
  • Commercial properties or mobile homes.
  • Any fault arising from improper use, vandalism, or lack of servicing.
  • Sludge, scale or blockages within the system.
  • External components such as time controls, isolation switches, thermostats, or pipework beyond 0.5 metres of the boiler.
  • Damage caused by electrical power surges, floods, fires, or other external events.
  • Adjustments to the time clock or pressure settings not resulting from a fault.

6. Duration of Warranty

The plan is valid for X years from the date of boiler installation as specified in your warranty certificate. It may be renewed or extended at our discretion.

7. Your Responsibilities

You must:

  • Ensure the boiler is serviced annually by PulsaCoil Group or an approved engineer.
  • Use the boiler in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Promptly report any faults or issues to our customer support team.
  • Maintain access to the boiler and ensure it is safe for our engineers to work on.

8. Claims and Onsite Visits

To make a claim:

  • Contact PulsaCoil Warranty Support on 0330 229 4190.
  • An engineer visit will be arranged at a mutually convenient time.
  • You must be present during the visit.
  • If the boiler is found to be faulty due to a manufacturing or installation issue, we will carry out repairs at no cost to you.

9. Repair Limitations

  • We aim to complete repairs on the first visit but this is not guaranteed.
  • If the boiler is deemed beyond economic repair, we may replace it up to the original installation value.
  • No refunds or compensation are available for missed appointments or delays.

10. Replacement Clause

Where repair is not feasible:

  • We may replace the boiler with a model of equivalent or similar specification.
  • Replacement value is capped at £750 (based on installation value).
  • Installation of a replacement boiler is not included unless covered by your plan level.

11. Cancellation

Your rights:

  • You may cancel within 14 days of receiving your plan documents for a full refund, provided no claims have been made.
  • After 14 days, you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund of any unused period.

Our rights:

  • We may cancel the plan if you fail to meet your responsibilities, misuse the boiler, or act abusively toward our staff.

12. Data Protection

We respect your data and will only use your personal information for the purposes of administering the plan and communicating with you about our products and services. Full details are in our privacy policy at www.pulsacoil.group/privacy.

13. Governing Law

This contract is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Your statutory rights are not affected.
