The ECO ETS difference
Why choose the Advance ECO ETS?
Replacing your existing PulsaCoil? Explore the features of the ECO ETS before choosing the right model for your home.
Designed as a PulsaCoil replacement
The ECO ETS range provides domestic hot water for apartments and all-electric homes. Advance identifies the ECO ETS 160 as a replacement option for Gledhill PulsaCoil units.
Straightforward controls
Stainless-steel construction without complicated printed circuit boards. Advance describes the design as low maintenance, rather than maintenance-free.
Designed for off-peak heating
Two fitted immersion heaters allow charging during suitable off-peak periods. Your installer should confirm the electrical supply and charging schedule for your tariff.
Updated ECO insulation
The newer ECO range has improved insulation and a revised design that Advance says reduces heat loss compared with its previous range.
Dimensions & suitability
Find the right fit for your home
Compare the standard ECO ETS models, then ask your installer to confirm the space, services and hot water demand before you order.
Standard model specifications
Stainless-steel thermal stores for domestic hot water only. Both sizes can be ordered with a factory-fitted isolation kit.

580 mm is the cylinder body diameter only. Allow for the additional space occupied by the sight glass and immersion heaters, as shown in the drawing below. Installation, pipework and servicing access require additional room; these are not minimum cupboard dimensions.
Bathroom examples are sizing guidance, not a guarantee of simultaneous use. Specifications refer to the standard models, not the slimline. See the manufacturer documents below.
Need a narrower model? Ask us about the slimline option so we can confirm the specification and installation requirements for your space.

A few questions before you order
Select a question to open the answer.
How do I confirm the date and total cost?
Call 0330 229 4190 or send an enquiry with your chosen model, postcode and whether you need supply only or installation. Check current availability and the arrangements for your order before planning around a particular date.
For supply-only orders, confirm delivery charges for your postcode. For installation, a new time clock, paid parking, congestion charges or low-emission-zone charges can be additional to the installed price. Please discuss anything that applies to your property before ordering.
Which warranty applies to my order?
The standard ECO ETS models have a 10-year cylinder guarantee and a 2-year fitted-component guarantee, subject to the manufacturer’s terms. The manufacturer documents in the specifications section give further product information.
When PulsaCoil Group carries out the installation, our 1-year workmanship warranty also covers our installation work. This is separate from the product guarantees and does not cover work carried out by your own installer.
How do I change or cancel an order?
Email enquiries@pulsacoil.group with your order reference and request. Please contact us promptly if an installation appointment is affected.
Refer to the terms applicable to your purchase for cancellation and return arrangements. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Who do I contact after delivery or installation?
Contact PulsaCoil Group on 0330 229 4190 or email enquiries@pulsacoil.group with your order reference and a description of the problem.
Keep your purchase and commissioning records. For a product issue, include the model and serial number where available; photographs can help explain delivery damage or a visible concern.
